All in a year

One year ago, we had a 3D ultrasound done and learned we were having a boy. We both just knew we were having a boy, so I guess you could say we just had it confirmed through the ultrasound. I still remember this night so vividly. The ultrasound was in Southern Indiana, just a couple miles outside Louisville. We hit thick traffic on our way there die to one of the bridges being closed. We were so afraid we'd miss the appointment and it was the last of the evening. We would have died if we had to wait another minute to see our little baby. Luckily, we made it-- even with a few minutes to spare (good thing I always plan to be 15 minutes early to appointments)!
It was the most amazing thing seeing Drake right in front of us on this big screen. I couldn't believe it. And, seeing and hearing Brandon's excitement was the sweetest thing ever. The tech was measuring the heartbeat, and there it was, our little boy! Drake wasn't shy and we were so glad! I still smile when I think about this night. Can't believe that was a year ago...
